  10. LONG DESCRIPTION                                                        
  11. So simple to use that it makes reaching for a computer manual           
  12. unthinkable, HORSES is a fast-out-of-the-gates, thoroughbred            
  13. handicapping program.  It was designed for the parimutuel player who    
  14. both loves horses and betting at the track.  Because it is objective and
  15. data oriented, HORSES offers you a leg up on touts and intuition.       
  16. Taking up to eight entries per race on a dirt or turf track, HORSES     
  17. lists projected race results numerically, according to odds and with a  
  18. graphic bar chart.

  20. Users should read the Daily Racing Form and know how to understand the  
  21. past performance charts printed in it.  The program asks for names of   
  22. horses, type of race, distance, and whether the sexes or ages are mixed.
  23. Then it asks specific questions about the history of each horse.  In a  
  24. flick of a horse's tail, the screen is filled with hard data.  The      
  25. percentages are especially valuable: the greater the percentage         
  26. difference between horses, the more certain the outcome.
